Meet Kirt

For over a decade, I've worked hands-on with dogs of every breed, background, and personality. From shy rescues to high-drive working dogs, one truth became clear to me early on:

Dogs don't need to be controlled - they need to be understood!

I built Cognitve Dog Training because I believe there are better ways than punitive methods and trying to force a dog into submission. Those systems may change behavior temporarily, but they often change the dog too - dulling personality, creating fear, or damaging trust. That's not training. That's suppression.

My work is about helping dogs stay exactly who they are - just calmer, clearer, and more confident in how they move through the world.

By teaching dogs how to think, how to process emotion, and how to recognize success through marker communication, behavior improves naturally. Not because they're afraid to get it wrong - but because they finally understand how to get it right.

This isn't obedience training.

it's freedom through clarity.
